Second rankedTrefl (12-5) crushed at home 14th ranked Enea Zastal (4-14) by 50 points 124-74 , which is the biggest margin this round on Sunday night. Trefl shot 64.7 percent from the field. Trefl outrebounded Zastal 38-20 including a 29-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. Trefl shot the lights out from three sinking 21 long-distance shots on high 72.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 32 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Zastal 's players. The best player for the winners was American guard Paul Scruggs (190-1998, college: Xavier) who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Belgian power forward Andy Van Vliet (213-1995, college: William & Mary) chipped in 21 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Trefl's coach Zan Tabak felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
