Very important is a road loss of third rankedStjarnan (10-6) against sixth ranked Haukar (9-8) on Tuesday night. Visiting Stjarnan was defeated by Haukar in a tough game in Hafnarfjordur 65-74 . Haukar players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American guard Keira Robinson (170-1994, college: VCU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 12 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners and the former international forward Lovisa Henningsdottir (186-1995, college: Marist) chipped in 14 points. American forward Denia Davis-Stewart (185-1998, college: Merrimack) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks and the former international point guard Isold Saevarsdottir (165-2007) scored 10 points, 9 assists and 5 steals. Haukar moved-up to fifth place. Newly promoted Stjarnan dropped to the fourth position with six games lost.
