Subway League top team -Valur (12-3) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Tindastoll (7-8) in Reykjavik 90-79 . It was a quality performance for Irish-British forward Taiwo Badmus (199-1993, college: UVA Wise) who led the winners and scored 24 points and 8 rebounds. The former international forward Kristofer Acox (198-1993, college: Furman) accounted for 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winning side. British forward Callum Lawson (198-1996, college: ACU, agency: Players Group) came up with 21 points and Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (207-1990) added 15 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Tindastoll in the defeat. Five Valur and four Tindastoll players scored in double figures. Valur have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 12-3 record. Tindastoll lost fourth consecutive game. Defending champion dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost.
