The most exciting game of round 15 in the Subway League took place in Thorlakshofn. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 3rd placedThor Thorl (10-5) to eighth ranked Hottur (8-7) 92-89 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Thor Thorl. Hottur made 20-of-22 free shots (90.9 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for Montenegrin power forward Nemanja Knezevic (205-1987) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). American-Hungarian point guard Obie Trotter (192-1984, college: AAMU) helped adding 15 points and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was American-French forward Jordan Semple (201-1992, college: Chico St.) with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and American-German forward Nigel Pruitt (201-1994, college: KSU) scored 21 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Hottur and four Thor Thorl players scored in double figures. Hottur moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Stjarnan. Thor Thorl at the other side keeps the third position with five games lost. They share it with Keflavik.
