Bottom-rankedEnea Zastal managed to get a fifth victory, breaking the series of four consecutive losses. This time they edged fifteenth-ranked Sokol in Zielona Gora 86-84 . Zastal dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Sokol 's 22. Zastal players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Montenegrin center Gligorije Rakocevic (211-1995, college: Oregon St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Power forward Michal Kolodziej (202-1997) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Enea Zastal's coach David Dedek allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Nigerian-American guard Ike Nwamu (193-1993, college: UNLV) answered with 19 points and 8 assists and American-Trinidad and Tobago point guard Terrell Gomez (173-1998, college: SDSU) added 22 points and 5 assists in the effort for Sokol. Five Zastal and four Sokol players scored in double figures. Zastal (5-14) moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with GTK and Arka. Sokol lost fifth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom position with 15 games lost.
