The game had a very big importance for second-rankedScrivia as it allowed them to take a leadership position after previous leader's (Roseto) loss. Scrivia defeated 11th ranked Carugate at home 82-72 . Scrivia outrebounded Carugate 56-24 including a 26-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Scrivia players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian Nina Premasunac (187-1992) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds. Naturalized Canadian forward Alyssa Cerino (184-1997) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Scrivia's coach Orazio Cutugno allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Guard Sara Usuelli (165-2003) replied with 16 points and 5 assists and guard Paola Caccialanza (173-1989) added 16 points in the effort for Carugate. Four Scrivia and five Carugate players scored in double figures. Scrivia (15-1) have an impressive 11-game winning streak. As mentioned above they took over a top position. Carugate at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 12 games lost.
