A very close game took place in Tychy betweenDecka and GKS . Eighth ranked Decka (14-8) got a very close victory on the road over 9th ranked GKS (12-10). Decka managed to escape with a 2-point win 87-85 on Saturday evening. Pelplin made 24-of-29 free shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Tychy outrebounded Pelplin 39-26 including 27 on the defensive glass. American forward Thomas Davis (198-1991, college: SWOSU) fired 25 points for the winners (made all of his seven free throws). Guard Mariusz Konopatzki (192-1996) chipped in 18 points and 4 assists. Pawel Zmarlak (195-1982) produced 12 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and point guard Sebastian Bozenko (183-1998) added 16 points and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. GKS's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Pelplin moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Kolobrzeg and Starogard Gd. Tychy at the other side keeps the ninth position with ten games lost.
