Very important is a road loss of third rankedKataja Ta. (9-5) against fourth ranked MuKi (7-7) on Sunday night. Visiting Kataja Ta. was defeated by MuKi in a tough game in Helsinki 78-83 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kataja Ta.. The hosts were tied at the half but managed to speed up in last two quarters eventually winning the game. The best player for the winners was guard Aleksi Kantonen (191-1995) who had a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Forward Elias Lahdensuu (195-1998) chipped in 17 points. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Vatangoe Donzo (201-2000, college: BMC) who recorded a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and guard Otto Frilander (186-2002) added 21 points and 4 assists respectively. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. MuKi maintains fourth place with 7-7 record. Loser Kataja Ta. keeps the third position with five games lost.
