There was an upset when higher rankedReggio Emilia (10-8) was smashed on the road by eleventh ranked Tortona (8-10) 93-64 on Sunday. Tortona looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. International power forward Luca Severini (204-1996) notched 17 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Chris Dowe (189-1991, college: Bellarmine) supported him with 13 points and 6 assists. Five Tortona players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 4 assists by American guard Langston Galloway (188-1991, college: St.Joseph's) did not help to save the game for Reggio Emilia . His fellow American import point guard Briante Weber (188-1992, college: VCU) added 15 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tortona moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Cremona. Loser Reggio Emilia keeps the sixth position with eight games lost.
