Regular Season Round 19: Denain-Voltaire - Boulazac 72-71

The game between third rankedBoulazac Basket (14-6) and twelfth ranked Denain Voltaire (9-10) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Boulazac Basket was edged by Denain Voltaire in a tough game in Denain 71-72 . It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Boulazac Basket. Swingman Neftali Difuidi-Walokwa (193-2001) fired 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Chris Lykes (169-1998, college: Arkansas, agency: Octagon Europe) chipped in 18 points (made all of his eight free throws). Power forward Jean-Marc Pansa (209-1997) produced 15 points and 9 rebounds and American point guard Angelo Warner (188-1992, college: Morehead St.) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Denain-Voltaire moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Antibes and Poitiers. Boulazac at the other side keeps the third position with six games lost. Denain-Voltaire is looking forward to face Chalons-Reims (#11) on the road in the next round. Boulazac will have a break next round.
