Very predictable result in Thessaloniki where sixth rankedPAOK (8-9) defeated bottom-ranked Apollon Patras (3-14) 85-70 on Saturday. PAOK dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Apollon Patras 's 30. PAOK looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Justin Alston (203-1994, college: Boston U.) who scored 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-14 shooting from the field). American-Dominican guard Marques Townes (191-1995, college: Loyola, IL) chipped in 19 points and 6 assists. Four PAOK players scored in double figures. PAOK's coach Fotis Takianos used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. American forward Malik Osborne (206-1998, college: FSU) produced a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and the other American import center Chad Brown (206-1996, college: UCF) added 14 points and 11 rebounds respectively for the guests. PAOK maintains sixth place with 8-9 record. Apollon lost third consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 14 games lost.
