The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated KosovanPeja (3-1) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Cypriot AEL (4-2) 94-84 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Peja. It was a key game for the top position in the league as both teams had the same 3-2 record before this meeting. AEL players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jordan Shepherd (193-1997, college: California) who helped to win the game recording 29 points and 5 assists and Canadian center Adong Makuoi (206-1999, college: Tennessee St.) who added 24 points and 9 rebounds (on 11-of-12 shooting from the field) during the contest. At the losing side American center DeAndre Davis (201-1994, college: Alcorn St.) responded with 25 points and 8 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Justin Edler-Davis (193-1998, college: CSUB) scored 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. AEL maintains first position with 4-2 record which they share with defeated Peja . Defending Kosovan champion Peja still keeps top place with one game lost. They share the position with Prishtina.
