Subway League top team -Valur (14-3) managed to deliver another win on Thursday. This time they beat tenth ranked Haukar (4-13) in Reykjavik 82-72 . The former international forward Kristofer Acox (198-1993, college: Furman) orchestrated the victory by scoring 17 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international swingman Kristinn Palsson (198-1997, college: Marist) contributed with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Valur players scored in double figures. Nigerian-Italian power forward David Okeke (204-1998, agency: Interperformances) answered with 18 points and 5 rebounds and American guard Everage Richardson (191-1985, college: Coastal) added 13 points and 4 assists in the effort for Haukar. Haukar's coach Mate Dalmay rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Valur have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-3 record. Haukar at the other side keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost.
