The game in Akureyri was also worth to mention about. Second rankedIR (14-2) played at the court of 8th ranked Thor (5-11). IR defeated Thor 95-81 . IR made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. They also forced 20 Thor turnovers. IR players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by Thor 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Hakon Hjalmarsson (190-1999, college: Binghamton) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 assists and American swingman Lamar Morgan (196-1997, college: Coppin St., agency: Helping Ballers) who added 28 points during the contest. Four IR players scored in double figures. At the losing side American guard Harrison Butler (196, college: SUU) responded with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 rebounds (made all of his twelve free throws !!!) and Hungarian-American power forward Jason Gigliotti (203-1999, college: UM-Dearborn) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 6 blocks. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. IR keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Fjolnir. Thor lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the eighth place with 11 games lost. They share the position with Armann.
