Very important is a road loss of second rankedJA Vichy (16-5) against eleventh ranked ASA (10-11) on Friday night. Visiting JA Vichy was defeated by ASA in a tough game in Gries 79-83 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of JA Vichy. ASA players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. Forward Carl Ponsar (203-1997) nailed 19 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Yohan Choupas (192-2000) accounted for 22 points. Lucas Dufeal (204-2003) came up with 17 points and 7 rebounds and naturalized Ivorian Cedric Bah (200-1994) added 14 points respectively for Vichy Clermont in the defeat. Four Vichy Clermont players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. The victory was the third consecutive win for ASA . They moved-up to ninth place. Vichy Clermont at the other side keeps the second position with five games lost.
