There was a surprise result when eleventh rankedSIG Strasbourg (11-12) edged at home higher ranked Cholet Basket (11-12) 79-76 on Saturday. Strasbourg looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for the former international guard Paul Lacombe (197-1990) who led the winners and scored 17 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. American Tyrus McGee (188-1991, college: Iowa St.) accounted for 13 points for the winning side. Four SIG Strasbourg players scored in double figures. Forward Tidjane Salaun (205-2005) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and American point guard TJ Campbell (175-1988, college: Portland) added 15 points respectively for Cholet in the defeat. Strasbourg moved-up to seventh place, which they share with 4 other teams including defeated Cholet .
