Rather expected game when 12th rankedSassari (8-12) was defeated on the road by tenth ranked Tortona (10-10) 79-62 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Croatian-German center Leon Radosevic (208-1990) who helped to win the game recording 12 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Tommaso Baldasso (193-1998) who added 14 points during the contest. Four Tortona players scored in double figures. American point guard Brandon Jefferson (175-1991, college: MSU Denver) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Senegalese power forward Ousmane Diop (204-2000) scored 14 points. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Tortona have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Scafati and Trento. Loser Sassari keeps the twelfth position with 12 games lost. They share it with Varese.
