Eighth-rankedHapoel Holon (5-5) was very close to win a game against fourth ranked Bnei Hertzeliya (9-5) in Hod Hasharon. Bnei Hertzeliya managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72 . However their fans expected much easier game. H.Holon was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of American Tyler Stone (203-1991, college: SEMO) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 assists and naturalized American Adrian Banks (191-1986, college: Arkansas St.) who added 7 points and 7 assists during the contest. Bnei Hertzeliya's coach Dan Shamir allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the losing side American Kevin Hervey (206-1996, college: UT Arlington) responded with 21 points and 8 rebounds and the former international point guard Niv Misgav (181-1995) scored 9 points and 10 assists. Bnei Hertzeliya moved-up to third place. H.Holon at the other side dropped to the ninth position with five games lost.
