Regular Season Round 16: Tresnjevka - Medvescak 69-65

Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Zagreb: Tresnjevka (#3) and Medvescak (#4). Tresnjevka (13-3) won against visiting Medvescak (13-4) 69-65. The winners were led by forward Lena Bilic (182-2007) who scored that evening 18 points and 9 rebounds and forward Viktorija Curic (185-2001) supported her with 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. Four Tresnjevka players scored in double figures. Even 21 points and 8 rebounds by guard Katarina Sekulic (175-2004) did not help to save the game for Medvescak. Vivien Nejasmic (182-2004) added 12 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Tresnjevka have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 13-3 record behind leader Pozega. Medvescak at the other side keeps the fourth place with four games lost. Tresnjevka's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zagreb to the arena Zagreb.
