There was no surprise when 17th rankedSalerno (7-18) lost on the road to eighth ranked Legnano (13-12) 73-62 on Sunday. American Nik Raivio (193-1986, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 20 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side and power forward Michael Sacchettini (205-1995, agency: SLN) accounted for 18 points. Legnano's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Mattia Acunzo (203-2000, college: RMU, agency: SLN) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Ferdinando Matrone (208-1995) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for Salerno in the defeat. Four Salerno players scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Legnano . They moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Salerno keeps the seventeenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Bisceglie.
