Regular Season Round 19: Victoria - RGUOR 56-85

The game in Grodno supposed to be also quite interesting. Fifth ranked RGUOR (9-8) played at the court of 7th ranked Victoria (5-13). RGUOR smashed Victoria 85-56 on Wednesday. RGUOR forced 27 Victoria turnovers. Strangely Victoria outrebounded RGUOR 47-35 including a 22-8 advantage in offensive rebounds. RGUOR looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was a great evening for Daria Kulik (-2008) who led her team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 assists. Marta Golovach (-2009) helped adding 21 points. Four RGUOR players scored in double figures. At the losing side Glafira Romashina (-2009) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and Varvara Pleskachevskaya (-2009) scored 4 points and 6 rebounds. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Newly promoted RGUOR maintains fifth place with 9-8 record. Victoria at the other side keeps the seventh position with 13 games lost. They share it with Gorizont 2. RGUOR's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena BC Minsk.
