The game between closely ranked teams ended with sixth rankedGomel 's (9-10) road victory over 7th ranked Victoria (5-14) 92-61 on Wednesday. Gomel made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. They also forced 30 Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 54-42 including a 27-14 advantage in offensive rebounds. Gomel looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Victoria 's players. The best player for the winners was power forward Olga Kopylova (187-1982) who scored 28 points and 7 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field). Swingman Yana Paraschenko (177-2005) chipped in a double-double by scoring 19 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Gomel players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Glafira Romashina (-2009) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds and Ulyana Paley (-2009) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Gomel moved-up to fifth place, which they share with RGUOR. Victoria at the other side keeps the seventh position with 14 games lost.
