Important game to mention about took place in Plav. Eighth rankedBalkanski Ris (6-7) saved a 2-point victory at home edging 7th ranked Montenegro (7-6) 89-87 on Thursday evening. They outrebounded Montenegro 44-27 including a 38-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. American swingman Kevin Holston Jr (185-1998, college: FMU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 39 points (!!!), 17 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals for the winners and Ivan Zejak (203-1987) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds. At the losing side Bogdan Nedic responded with 16 points and 5 rebounds and Andrija Sutovic scored 16 points. Four Montenegro players scored in double figures. Montenegro's coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Balkanski Ris maintains eighth place with 6-7 record. Montenegro at the other side dropped to the sixth position with six games lost. They share it with Vukovi Zeta.
