ViVe was tied after three quarters but could not keep up in the last quarter eventually losing the game. Kouvottaret outrebounded Vimpelin Veto 44-31 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Kouvottaret looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American guard ReShawna Stone (168, college: Buffalo) who led the winners and scored 21 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import guard Doniyah Cliney (182-1996, college: S.Carolina) accounted for 14 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Four Kouvottaret players scored in double figures. Kouvottaret's coach Joonas Frimodig used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international forward Silja Viita (185-2001) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and American guard JahChe Whitfield (180-2000, college: KSU) added 20 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Vimpelin Veto in the defeat. Kouvot maintains sixth place with 9-12 record. ViVe lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with 12 games lost.
