Regular Season Round 27: Wisla Krakow - Kielce 81-98

Very expected game when 10th rankedWisla Krakow (10-17) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Kielce (14-13) 98-81 on Saturday. Kielce looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was a great evening for Jakub Lewandowski (190-1992) who led his team to a victory scoring 38 points (!!!) (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field). Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-1988) helped adding 15 points, 13 rebounds and 8 assists. The best for the losing side was point guard Artur Wlodarczyk (182-1996) with a triple-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 12 assists and forward Filip Rerak (196-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 23 points and 13 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Kielce maintains sixth place with 14-13 record, which they share with Zgierz. Loser Wisla Krakow dropped to the ninth position with 17 games lost. They share it with 6 other teams. Kielce will meet league's second-placed Bielsko-Biala on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Wisla Krakow will play against Rybnik (#4) and hope to secure a win.
