Regular Season Round 18: Chartres - PVBC 73-65

Rather expected game when 5th ranked PVBC (10-8) was defeated on the road by third ranked Chartres (13-5) 73-65. Chartres outrebounded PVBC 44-28 including 18 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for point guard Emma Peytour-Raison (172-2000) who led her team to a victory with 19 points. Point guard Elise Marie (164-1995) contributed with 8 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Forward Fabienne Constant (188-1986, agency: Areus Sports) replied with 25 points and 7 rebounds and American guard Alexa Middleton (175-1995, college: Iowa St.) added 10 points, 5 assists and 5 steals in the effort for PVBC. Chartres have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Montbrison. Newly promoted PVBC keeps the fifth position with eight games lost. Chartres will play against Feytiat (#9) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. PVBC will play against the league's leader Aulnoye (#1) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
