An interesting game forKR (13-5) which hosted in Reykjavik top-ranked Stjarnan 2 (1-14). Second ranked KR had an easy win 78-52 . KR forced 20 Stjarnan 2 turnovers and outrebounded them 51-40 including 21 on the offensive glass. American Michaela Porter (182-1999, college: App State) notched a double-double by scoring 27 points and 16 rebounds to lead the effort and swingman Anna Magnusdottir (178-2006) supported her with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Even 16 points and 8 rebounds by forward Elisabet Olafsdottir (182-2007) did not help to save the game for Stjarnan 2 . Power forward Bo Guttormsdottir-Frost (183-2008) added 13 points and 7 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KR have a solid three-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Stjarnan 2 lost eighth consecutive game. Newly promoted team still keeps top place with 14 games lost.
