There was no surprise in Hafnarfjordur where 10th rankedHaukar (5-14) was defeated by eighth ranked Tindastoll (10-9) 100-93 on Thursday. Tindastoll shot 62.1 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 64.0 percentage. Tindastoll looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. It was a great evening for Lithuanian center Adomas Drungilas (207-1990) who led his team to a victory scoring 27 points (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). The former international guard Thorir Thorbjarnarson (198-1998, college: Nebraska) helped adding 23 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Nigerian-Italian power forward David Okeke (204-1998, agency: Interperformances) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and American forward DeSean Parsons (201-1995, college: Portland St.) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Five Tindastoll and four Haukar players scored in double figures. Haukar's coach Mate Dalmay rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Defending champion moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Alftanes. Loser Haukar keeps the tenth position with 14 games lost.
