Rather predictable result when sixth rankedM.Rishon (8-9) edged 10th ranked M.Ma'ale Adum. (6-10) in Rishon Le-Zion 80-77 on Tuesday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. M.Rishon outrebounded M.Ma'ale Adum. 42-31 including 27 on the defensive glass. M.Rishon looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Guard Shalev Lugashi (194-2001) notched a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and the former international Raviv Pitshon (198-1989) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. M.Rishon's coach Mickey Gorka used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists by guard Daniel Najar (193-2001) did not help to save the game for M.Ma'ale Adum. . Point guard Gil Noyovitch (184-2001) added 13 points. M.Rishon maintains sixth position with 8-9 record, which they share with H.Gilboa Galil and H.Safed Galil. M.Ma'ale Adum. lost third consecutive game.
