There was an upset when higher rankedM.Rishon (8-9) lost on the road to tenth ranked H.Kfar Qasem (7-9) 84-80 on Thursday. Naturalized Romanian Yaniv Solomon (200-1994) notched 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the effort and naturalized American point guard Paul Delaney (188-1986, college: UAB) supported him with 16 points and 5 rebounds. H.Kfar Qasem's coach Hanan Hirshovitz used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 28 points and 11 rebounds by guard Shalev Lugashi (194-2001) did not help to save the game for M.Rishon . Naturalized Polish guard Gal Gilinski (195-1995, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 12 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. H.Kfar Qasem moved-up to ninth place, which they share with E.Shomron. Loser M.Rishon keeps the sixth position with nine games lost. They share it with H.Gilboa Galil and H.Safed Galil.
