The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-rankedValur (16-4) on the court of fourth ranked Grindavik on Friday night. Visitors were rolled over by Grindavik 98-67 . It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Valur. Grindavik forced 19 Valur turnovers. Five Grindavik and four Valur players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Grindavik (14-6) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Keflavik. Valur at the other side still keeps top position with four games lost.
