Regular Season Round 20: PVBC - Nice 64-72

There was a small surprise in Voiron where eighth ranked Nice (10-10) beat 6th ranked PVBC (10-10) 72-64. Nice made 25-of-27 charity shots (92.6 percent) during the game, while PVBC only scored seven points from the stripe. Nice forced 27 PVBC turnovers. The winners were led by guard Lena Timera (178-1994, agency: Areus Sports) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and guard Elise Cammas (178-1997, agency: Areus Sports) supported her with 20 points. Even a double-double of 19 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists by forward Fabienne Constant (188-1986, agency: Areus Sports) did not help to save the game for PVBC. Guard Marine Mulumba (172-1997) added 11 points and 8 rebounds for the hosts. Four PVBC players scored in double figures. Nice moved-up to sixth place, which they share with La Tronche and PVBC. PVBC lost third consecutive game. Nice will play against higher ranked Chartres (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. PVBC will play against Feytiat and hopes to get back on the winning track.
