Regular Season Round 20: Montbrison - CFBB 74-65

Very predictable result when third ranked Montbrison (15-5) defeated at home bottom-ranked CFBB (2-18) 74-65. Montbrison made 20-of-26 charity shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Kendall Cooper (193-1995, college: Duke) who scored that evening 14 points and 8 rebounds and Portuguese forward Laura Ferreira (180-1995, college: S.Florida) supported her with 11 points and 5 rebounds. Four Montbrison players scored in double figures. Even 14 points by forward Nell Angloma (181-2006) did not help to save the game for CFBB. Point guard Stella Colas (176-2006) added 7 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Montbrison moved-up to second place, which they share with Chartres. CFBB lost fifth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 18 lost games. Montbrison will play against Champagne (#10) in Reims in the next round and are hoping to win another game. CFBB will play at home against Mondeville and hopes to get back on the winning track.
