The game between Top Four teams took place in Helsinki. First ranked hostSeagulls (22-8) smashed 3rd ranked Korihait (17-13) 100-64 . The game without a history. Seagulls led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Korihait 's 26. Seagulls forced 21 Korihait turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Korihait 's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Seagulls made 10 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Rene Rougeau (198-1986, college: UNLV, agency: Blacktop Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points, 11 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and international point guard Lassi Nikkarinen (187-1997, college: Montana St.) who added 13 points and 11 assists during the contest. Five Seagulls players scored in double figures. Seagulls' coach Vesa Vertio felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American power forward Javion Ogunyemi (206-1995, college: Siena) responded with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 15 rebounds and his fellow American import swingman Jalen Jackson (198-1994, college: UALR, agency: Diamond Sports) scored 22 points and 5 rebounds. Seagulls have a solid four-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-8 record. Korihait at the other side keeps the third place with 13 games lost. They share the position with Vilpas.
