There was a surprise result when sixteenth rankedBrindisi (7-17) defeated on the road higher ranked Scafati (11-13) 84-76 on Sunday. American players dominated the game. The winners were led by guard Frank Bartley IV (191-1994, college: Louisiana) who scored that evening 22 points and forward Xavier Sneed (196-1997, college: Kansas St.) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Bartley IV is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Brindisi's coach Fabio Corbani allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 12 points and 11 assists by guard Gerald Robinson (185-1989, college: Georgia) did not help to save the game for Scafati . Power forward Kruize Pinkins (203-1993, college: USF) added 13 points and 11 rebounds. Four Brindisi and five Scafati players scored in double figures. Brindisi moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Pesaro. Loser Scafati keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Sassari.
