There was a surprise result when ninth rankedPiacenza (13-15) edged on the road higher ranked Rieti Real (17-11) 85-82 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of Michele Serpilli (201-1999) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 6 rebounds and American power forward Brady Skeens (202-1995, college: Washburn, agency: One Motive Sports) who added 10 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Dustin Hogue (198-1992, college: Iowa St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international point guard Marco Spanghero (185-1991) scored 13 points and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Rieti Real's coach Alessandro Rossi rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Piacenza moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Cividale and Juvi Cremona. Newly promoted Rieti Real keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost. They share it with Verona.
