D1 top team -KR (20-2) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Armann (6-16) in Reykjavik 90-61 . KR dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Armann 's 22. KR forced 20 Armann turnovers and had a 35-24 advantage in offensive rebounds. KR looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Nimrod Hilliard IV (183-1993, college: NCCU) who helped to win the game recording 24 points and 4 assists. Forward Fridrik Jonsson (200-2002) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Guard Alfonso Soruson (198-2000) replied with 11 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Devaughn Jenkins (201-1995, college: Angelo St.) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Armann. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. KR have an impressive 13-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 20-2 record. Armann at the other side dropped to the ninth place with 16 games lost. They share the position with Selfoss.
