There was a small surprise in Lapua where eleventh rankedBisons (9-22) edged 8th ranked Kobrat (14-17) 85-83 on Wednesday. The guests trailed by 3 points after three quarters before their 23-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American center Dylan Painter (208-1998, college: Delaware) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import point guard Devon Goodman (184-1997, college: Pennsylvania) chipped in 14 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was American forward Theo Akwuba (211-2000, college: Ole Miss) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and Joona Tuomala (197-1997) scored 23 points (went 9 for 9 at the free throw line !!!). Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Newly promoted Bisons maintains eleventh place with 9-22 record. Loser Kobrat keeps the eighth position with 17 games lost.
