Regular Season Round 8: TalTech - Saku KK 33-53

One of the most interesting games of round 8 was a derby match between two teams from Estonia. The game took place in Tallinn where fifth rankedSaku KK outleveled host TalTech (3-11) 53-33 . The game was mostly controlled by Saku KK. TalTech managed to win fourth quarter 13-10 . But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Saku KK dominated on the defensive end, holding TalTech to just 4 points in third quarter. The best player for the winners was point guard Andreas Parn (181-2008) who scored 16 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Guard Jesper Roman (186-2008) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Kenneth Vilumets-Krekker produced 9 points and Karl Talts (-2008) added 9 points respectively for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Saku KK have a solid three-game winning streak. Despite that victory Saku KK went down to sixth position due to points difference which they share with defeated TalTech . TalTech lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 11 games lost.
