There was no surprise in Kfar Blum where 12th rankedGalil Elion (5-16) was crushed by fourth ranked Hapoel Holon (12-7) 92-71 on Thursday. H.Holon forced 19 H.Galil Elion turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Shawn Dawson (198-1993) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 5 assists and American forward Justin Smith (201-1999, college: Arkansas) who added 15 points during the contest. Four Hapoel Holon players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international point guard Roi Huber (188-1997) with 11 points and 8 assists and American Shonn Miller (201-1993, college: UConn) scored 13 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Holon have a solid three-game winning streak. H.Holon maintains fourth position with 12-7 record. H.Galil Elion lost ninth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom place with 16 games lost. They share the position with H.Be'er Sheva.
