Very important is a home loss of third rankedI.Nahariya (13-9) against seventh ranked H.Kfar Qasem (10-12) on Friday night. Host I.Nahariya was defeated by H.Kfar Qasem in a tough game in Nahariya 94-103 . H.Kfar Qasem shot 22 for 32 from the free-throw line, while I.Nahariya only scored six points from the stripe. H.Kfar Qasem looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when H.Kfar Qasem made 7 blocks. The winners were led by naturalized Romanian Yaniv Solomon (200-1994) who scored that evening 31 points and 4 assists and guard Efi Tyomkin (190-2000, agency: BIG) supported him with 30 points. Even 20 points and 6 assists by naturalized Polish point guard Yehonatan Yam (182-1999) did not help to save the game for I.Nahariya . Point guard Amit Reuven (182-1998) added 22 points and 5 steals. I.Nahariya's coach David Elharar tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Despite that victory H.Kfar Qasem went down to ninth position due to points difference. Loser I.Nahariya keeps the third place with nine games lost.
