Second Stage Round 2: Apollon - AEK 89-79

AEK recorded a loss on the court of Apollon Patras on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by Apollon Patras 89-79. Apollon made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American center Chad Brown (206-1996, college: UCF) who had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds. The other American import guard Josh Perkins (191-1995, college: Gonzaga, agency: Slash Sports) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Brown is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Four Apollon Patras players scored in double figures. American guard Chasson Randle (188-1993, college: Stanford) produced 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and Lithuanian Mindaugas Kuzminskas (205-1989) added 20 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
