Regular Season Round 28: Cholet - Gravelines 72-84

We should mention about the upset which took place in Cholet, where higher rankedCholet Basket (15-13) lost at home to fifteenth ranked Gravelines-Dunkerque (10-18) 72-84 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Cholet Basket. It was a great shooting night for Gravelines especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of Ivorian swingman Vafessa Fofana (200-1992) who helped to win the game recording 16 points and point guard Thomas Cornely (190-1991) who added 11 points, 6 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Gravelines-Dunkerque players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Neal Sako (210-1998) responded with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field) and point guard Nathan De Sousa (191-2003, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 9 points. Cholet Basket's coach tested ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gravelines maintains fifteenth position with 10-18 record. Cholet at the other side keeps the seventh place with 13 games lost.
