An interesting game forBourges (18-4) which played road game in Montpellier against 4th ranked BLMA (13-9). Second ranked Bourges had an easy win 91-58 . It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of BLMA. Bourges made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They outrebounded BLMA 41-15 including a 31-11 advantage in defensive rebounds. Bourges looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by BLMA 's players. Worth to mention a great performance of international Pauline Astier (178-2002) who helped to win the game recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Latvian center Anete Steinberga (190-1990, college: UTEP) contributed with 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Bourges players scored in double figures. The former international power forward Elodie Naigre (182-1995) replied with 15 points and American guard Ameryst Alston (175-1993, college: Ohio St.) added 17 points in the effort for BLMA. BLMA's coach Valery Demory gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Bourges have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 18-4 record behind leader Villeneuve. BLMA at the other side keeps the fourth place with nine games lost.
