Regular Season Round 28: Cadi La Seu - Estudiantes 68-63
Date: April 6, 2024
An interesting game took place in Seu D'urgell where higher rankedEstudiantes (16-13) was upset on the court of eleventh ranked Cadi La Seu (12-16) 68-63 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lydia Rivers (188-1997, college: Virginia Tech) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Slovakian forward Veronika Remenarova (188-1997) who added 17 points during the contest. Cadi La Seu's coach Fabian Tellez used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Belgian center Billie Massey (184-2000) responded with 14 points and 6 rebounds and Ghanian-Japanese center Stephanie Mawuli (182-1998) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. Cadi La Seu have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain eleventh position with 12-16 record. Estudiantes at the other side dropped to the fifth place with 13 games lost. Cadi La Seu are looking forward to face higher ranked Jairis (#6) in Alcantarilla in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Estudiantes will play at home against the league's second-placed Avenida having rather not much hope for a victory.
