Very predictable result when second ranked Alpo (19-6) beat on the road 11th ranked Rovigo (7-18) 77-67 on Saturday. Alpo forced 24 Rovigo turnovers. Forward Francesca Parmesani (176-1998) stepped up and scored 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners and guard Anna Turel (174-2002) chipped in 19 points and 5 steals. At the losing side Croatian forward Mia Masic (180-1993) responded with 19 points and guard Camilla Bonivento (175-1998) scored 11 points and 5 steals. Alpo maintains second place with 19-6 record having four points less than leader Scrivia. Rovigo lost their fifth game in a row. Newly promoted team keeps the eleventh position with 18 games lost. Alpo will meet at home Treviso (#6) in the next round. Rovigo will play against Bolzano BC (#8) and hope to secure a win.
