Regular Season Round 31: Dijon - Le Portel 92-80

There was a surprise result when fourteenth rankedJDA Dijon (13-18) defeated at home higher ranked Le Portel (16-15) 92-80 on Wednesday. Dijon made 26-of-33 free shots (78.8 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for naturalized Chadian power forward Jacques Alingue (203-1988) who led his team to a victory scoring 17 points and 7 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). American Leyton Hammonds (203-1994, college: OK State) helped adding 21 points (perfect from the field making all six shots). JDA Dijon's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the losing side center Bastien Vautier (210-1998) responded with 20 points and American guard Desi Washington (188-1992, college: St.Peter's) scored 14 points and 7 assists. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Dijon moved-up to thirteenth place, which they share with Chalon/Saone. Loser Le Portel keeps the sixth position with 15 games lost. They share it with Saint Quentin.
