Semi-Finals Game 2: Mersin - Gaziantep 79-77

Mersin made 18-of-23 free shots (78.3 percent) during the game. Strangely Gaziantep outrebounded Mersin 39-24 including 27 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Gerel Simmons (189-1993, college: LMU, agency: Diamond Sports) who scored 22 points and 7 assists. Guard Huseyin Kandemir (196-1995) chipped in 10 points. Mersin's coach Semih Soguksu used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. American point guard Maurice Watson (178-1993, college: Creighton) produced 28 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists and Latvian Rolands Freimanis (209-1988) added 10 points and 9 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Four Gaziantep players scored in double figures.
