Rytas outrebounded Zalgiris 41-30 including 28 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of international Gytis Radzevicius (197-1995) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 5 rebounds. American forward Justin Gorham (201-1998, college: Houston) contributed with 15 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Five Rytas players scored in double figures. The former international point guard Lukas Lekavicius (180-1994) answered with 21 points and 4 assists and the former international center Laurynas Birutis (213-1997) added 14 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) in the effort for Zalgiris. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
