Sindri used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Akranes 89-86 on Friday night. Sindri made 16-of-21 free shots (76.2 percent) during the game. American point guard Donovan Fields (178-1996, college: Cal Poly) fired 26 points and 4 steals for the winners. Slovenian forward Milorad Sedlarevic (201-1993, college: UPEI) chipped in 21 points (made all of his twelve free throws !!!). Brazilian forward Victor Bafutto (208-1998, college: ULM) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 17 rebounds and Hungarian-Serbian Srdjan Stojanovic (198-1991) added 29 points and 7 assists (made all of his nine free throws !!!) respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures.
